[ZopeUK - Public] Zope Solutions Day Thursday 22nd

Hello,

We are still waiting for final numbers from ZC on numbers who have
registered. Main thing is that from what I have seen most of the main
Zope / Plone companies in the UK will be attending and also
representatives from a number of key users.  Personally I am looking
forward to the presentations as it will give us a chance to see what
others are doing and where and how we can work together.  Several of us
have been active recently in talking to gov representatives and during
the day and in the margins perhaps we can review what we have done and
where we can go with this.  Toward the end of the day I am hoping we can
all have an open discussion on how we can grow the Zope economy in the
UK. Also hoping we can spend 5 mins on our next event. In the zopeuk
discussion forum we have had a brief outline on a legal theme on OSS. I
have outlined the idea to the marketing lady at Novell and she is going
back to her boss to see if they would be willing to be the main sponsor
fo this. Hopefully I will have an update on this by close on Thursday.

ZC have kindly booked the venue on Thursday and are organising
refreshments so this is a big thank you to them. I must also apologise
that there was some confusion over payments.  Blue Fountain are hoping
to provide a wi-fi environment on the day.Hope we all have a productive
and useful day which results in good networking opportunities and
ultimately more business.
